Soft Matter Symposium: Friction, Rheology, and Tribology

The symposium will bring together a distinguished group of experts in Soft Matter, Tribology, and Rheology for presentations and in-depth discussions surrounding the recently growing convergence of these fields, particularly around the subject of surfaces and friction.

There will be no registration fees or any charges for the participants.  We encourage students to attend and to present their work with a poster and sound-bite session. 

This event is also aligned with a special issue in the Elsevier Journal, Biotribology, on the topic of Soft Matter.  Participants are invited to submit a paper (of any length) to the issue. The organizers of the Soft Matter Symposium will be handling the review process for these manuscripts – the submission window opens on October 1st.
